British Airways Careers Aircraft maintenance Technician (Apply Now)

 BRITISH AIRWAYS CAREERS

At British Airways, we take huge pride in our past – but we’re looking to the future as an airline that loves embracing the best of modern Britain. Our country’s creativity, diversity, style, wit and warmth are the same special qualities that make us who we are.

If you’re made of the same qualities as us, you could soon be part of the next chapter of our story. Together as one team, we’re connecting Britain with the world and the world to Britain like no one else.

Aircraft Workshop Services (consisting of FSF, PSF EHM, NDT, Cabin Base workshops) is looking for dynamic proactive Workshop Technicians to support the ever changing business demands and to provide Engineering Support to our Customers, and ultimately the BA Operation. Your role would be to perform and certify for repairs and/or maintenance tasks performed in accordance with approved technical data, and in some cases, assist Technical Engineers to design Part.21 repairs, which can be achieved and certified, to meet operational demand. Dependent on work location, you would also be required to support on-wing tasks in the Base Production, on the Line at LHR/LGW or at outstations for 3rd Party or AOG recovery tasks.
The Workshop Technician coordinates and manages workload priorities in a safe and secure manner, to deliver world class engineering solutions to our customer.  You need to be an experienced and confident engineer, a flexible team player, able to multitask, lead by example, to enable you to work within an established team within the Aircraft Workshop Services section.  This is an exciting time for British Airways as we emerge from the recent Covid Pandemic, as we enter into a new era of Maintenance activities with new technologies.
If you are interested in being part of the team, helping to lead, develop and implement significant change to our business, this could be the job role for you.

We are currently recruiting for permanent night shift.
